Calling All Future Scientists

Kids: Grab your goggles, gloves and a lab coat. It’s time to create some “mayhem.” Scientific Mayhem is a new business in West Chester, designed to excite kids about science. Owner and Master of Mayhem, Lisa Bacu, is using her BS in biology and MS in environmental chemistry to open Scientific Mayhem, which offers homeschool science classes, birthday parties and after-school classes for children in grades Kindergarten through fifth. Tutoring is also available for kids in higher grades. At Scientific Mayhem, kids have the opportunity to explore scientific concepts using hands-on experiments and activities. Bacu has a passion for teaching and believes that active involvement is the best way for children to explore, discover and “do” science.
