April 2018 Around Town

Power of the Purse 2018 Spring Event

The Power of the Purse (POP) Fund is a women’s giving circle dedicated to strengthening the community by providing grant funds to non-profit organizations serving the interests of women and girls. Members of POP seek to educate and inspire others and increase the number of women committed to philanthropy.

On April 6, POP will host an annual spring event, which is the first step to awarding the $10,000 grant for 2018. All are invited to attend and learn more about joining this impactful group. A summary of all grant applications will be provided at this event, and members will have the opportunity to vote for their top three proposals. To attend, the cost is just $20 and you can register online. Non-members/guests may attend one POP event without joining. WCLFoundation.com
