Shiver Security Systems Donates K9

Shiver Security Systems has donated another K9 through The Matt Haverkamp Foundation. Rexo, a 17-month-old German Shephard will be donated to Drug Strike Force, which is a task force committed to making Northern Kentucky a safer community through aggressive investigation of drug traffickers and by providing training and educational resources to law enforcement and community partners. Rexo and his new agent began classes in July where he will spend approximately four weeks training. Upon completion, the team will be certified and sent to Northern Kentucky.

Bethany School Adds New Board, New Dining Hall

Bethany School, a private school in Glendale for students in kindergarten to eighth grades, recently assembled its inaugural Board of Trustees, led by Sister Jean Gabriel who serves as Sister Superior. As a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools, Bethany School has 230 students from all around the tri-state area and 22 school districts. The 2018-19 school year will feature a brand new dining hall for students, with all new appliances, fixtures and flooring. Bethany School is currently taking applications for enrollment. New Fieldhouse Opens at Voice of America MetroPark

UC Health and MetroParks of Butler County recently celebrated the grand opening of the UC Health West Chester Hospital Fieldhouse at VOA. The facility will serve the park’s 22 athletic fields. The fieldhouse encompasses 6,137 square feet under roof, including porch areas, a First Aid Station staffed by UC Health, a second story press box, a concession stand staffed for tournaments, and modern restrooms. The site also features a one-acre great lawn, 3,500 square-foot outdoor viewing terrace, and over 400 new paved parking spaces for convenient parking.
