They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well, it also takes a village to assemble our annual fall fashion issue. Our fashion spreads this month couldn’t have been possible without the help from many people, so I’d like to take a moment to thank them.

The Clothes: It’s challenging to assemble a fall fashion issue in the middle of July, but thanks to some of our amazing partners we were able to do that. Designer Items and More, Symmetry Boutique & Gallery and Interiors Plus provided the beautiful fashions featured in this issue based on what’s trending this fall. These boutiques are all locally owned by women living right here in West Chester & Liberty Townships.

The Models: As a 40+ year-old mom, one of my pet peeves is flipping through fashion magazines and seeing 18-year-olds wearing size 00 modeling clothes that are targeted to grown women. Inside our pages we’re showcasing “real” women, all moms who live locally. These ladies are beautiful on the inside and out and did a FANTASTIC job. Learn more about Jen, Shwetha and Courtney inside.

The Look: The expert team at Pure Concept Salon in Liberty Center was able to enhance the natural radiance of our models by styling their hair and applying their make-up for our photo shoots. A special thank you to Brie Post and Kayla Tribbey for lending your outstanding skills for this issue.

The Team: Len Kaltman with West Chester Corporate Photography was the eye behind the lens for these photo shoots. He made our models feel comfortable to get the perfect pose —even on a hot day with spectators watching. My incredible editor, Abbey Bradley, helped navigate all the complicated logistics that it took to put this issue together. I’m blessed to have her by my side.

I want to give a big thank you to those noted above along with the rest of my fantastic advertising partners, writers and photographers. They are all responsible for bringing you West Chester & Liberty Lifestyle each month.
