I have a deep-rooted love for the arts, which is why our annual Arts & Entertainment edition of West Chester & Liberty Lifestyle is my favorite issue of the year. This month we celebrate many of the wonderful artists and entertainment opportunities in and around our community.

Home Expo at Carriage Hill

West Chester & Liberty Lifestyle hosted its first Home Expo at Carriage Hill on June 10, giving guests the opportunity to tour model homes, learn about many local home services and win prizes. Thank you to all who participated in the event, which raised funds for Edge Teen Center.

Leadership Through Philanthropy

The Community Foundation of West Chester/Liberty hosted the inaugural Leadership Through Philanthropy on June 8 at the Holiday Inn Centre Park in West Chester, highlighting the impact philanthropy has on our community. Dr. Suresh Gupta, MD and his team of medical professionals celebrated the opening of their newest PureMD MedSpa location at Liberty Center with this ribbon-cutting. PureMD offers aesthetic services from complete facelifts to liposuction and fat transfer, all from their Liberty Center location in the Foundry Building, Suite 212.

Reach Out Lakota Corporate Food Fight

Twenty-one businesses from West Chester, Liberty Township, Fairfield, Hamilton and Mason contributed to Reach Out Lakota’s second annual Corporate Food Fight in June. The companies raised 8,400 lbs. of food and donated $2,515. The event was sponsored by local organizations, including West Chester Hospital and West Chester & Liberty Lifestyle.
