Favorite Memories From West Chester Natives
West Chester and Liberty Township have so much to offer residents, not the least of which are fond memories and family traditions during the holiday season. We asked a few of our partners to share their favorite holiday memories, and this is what they had to say.
“My favorite memory growing up was always opening our presents on Christmas Eve and then Midnight Mass with the family. We would come home that night and all of our neighbors in Lakota Hills would light the street up with luminaries. Everything was so beautiful.” –Alison Shiver, Shiver Security Systems
“One of my favorite holiday memories is the Christmas Walk in Olde West Chester, and last Christmas we really liked the Santa and the tree set up at Liberty Center too. When I was younger I loved driving around West Chester looking at Christmas lights with my family.” –Tiffany Allen-Zeuch, Sibcy Cline West Chester Office
“By far our favorite holiday memory growing up was going to Kern Nursery and cutting down our Christmas tree. With bow saw in hand, we would split up and traverse the tree farm for the perfect tree. Once we cut it down, we lugged it back, loaded it and headed back home for some hot chocolate and decorating. –Dustin, Damon & Devon Mundey, The Turf Tailor
“The holiday season tends to be the slowest time business-wise for our law firm. So, for as long as I can remember, my family packed our bags for Christmas, and headed to the beach. It was, and still is, a rarity for my siblings and me to wake up Christmas morning in West Chester. Fortunately, Santa Claus always found a way to find us, wherever we were.” –Kara Lyons, Lyons & Lyons Law
“For 17 years, HUFF Realty has held a toy drive for Cincinnati Shriners Hospital for Children. All of our agents and employees get involved, along with community members, and it’s one of my favorite memories every Christmas season.” –Scot Avery, HUFF Reality
