Michael is a proud father to three Lakota East High School graduates. L-R: Alex (member of Lakota East’s 2011 state baseball championship team), Sarah (member of the women’s rowing team at Ohio State and won the Big Ten Championship), Michael, Julia (wife), David (played baseball at Ohio State and won the Big Ten Championship), and Lauren (daughter-in-law).
His favorite place to vacation is the Napa and Sonoma County wine country. Michael and his wife love going to vineyards, seeing how the grapes are grown, how they make wine and, most importantly, tasting it!
He coached both boys and girls sports in Lakota for more than 15 years and continues to sponsor little league teams in the area.
Passionate about Ohio State football, Michael never misses a game.
Michael enjoys hiking and kayaking with his wife at state parks.
He is a huge Tom Petty fan.
Michael enjoys the Cincinnati Art Museum, especially the Impressionist paintings.
He enjoys reading fiction novels.
